California’s Great America is a large family amusement park located in Santa Clara, California.The park covers 364 acres and is geared for fun for the entire family. Planet Snoopy is the place that young adventure seekers can have fun and explore. There are many rides specifically geared toward young children in this part of the park including Peanut Pirates, Sally’s Love Bugs and The Pumpkin Patch. Snoopy’s Splash Dance is a wet and crazy maze that doesn’t require a bathing suit. Also, for our young riders is Kidville.The kids can enjoys such rides as Classic Cars, Fender Bender 500 (bumper cars) and Junior Jump Club which is a mini-drop ride.For the thrill-seekers, The Demon is the among the oldest of all roller coasters and still thrills even the most adventurous at heart today. Twists and Turns through fire and water and 360 degree arcs is what the Survivor roller coaster is about. The Vortex takes you up to a heart pounding 91 feet on a twisting track and plunges you through the eye of the ride while its riders are standing. The Flight Deck is a 50 mph roller coaster full of twisting turns while the riders are suspended below the track with feet dangling. For those of you who are trying to beat the heat,California’s Great America also has three water rides.Rip Roaring Rapids takes you down a set of rapids on a thrilling adventure.
